Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate Worship Director to lead our congregation in heartfelt, Christ-centered worship. This is a part-time position (10–15 hours/week) with a flexible, hybrid schedule for non-Sunday tasks. Note: Based on performance and alignment, this role has the potential to expand into a full-time position.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Lead & Develop: Oversee our worship band, audio, visual, and service director teams.
• Worship Leadership: Lead worship vocally and instrumentally.
• Collaboration: Work with the Lead Pastor to create liturgical elements and choose weekly songs.
• Administration: Manage Planning Center, ProPresenter, and the worship/AV budget.

Who We’re Looking For

• Spiritual Maturity: A biblical character consistent with 1 Timothy 3:8–13 and a commitment to our mission.
• Skill Set: Strong vocal/instrumental leadership and experience with (or a desire to learn) modern worship tools (Planning Center/ProPresenter).
• Team Player: A desire to lead from a team approach alongside our elders and lay leaders.
• Preferred: Original songwriting experience and engagement with the Wake County music scene.

Compensation & Hours

• Salary Range: $22 – $27 per hour (commensurate with experience)
• Time Commitment: 10 – 15 hours per week (finalized during interview process)
