Worship & Arts Director | North Metro
Fellowship Denver Church is seeking a North Metro Worship & Arts Director to lead and develop the worship ministry at our growing North Metro congregation. The ideal candidate will be a driven leader who is rooted in the Scriptures and led by the Spirit. This candidate should love developing people, building healthy teams, and should exemplify musical excellence.
About Fellowship Denver Church
Founded 18 years ago in the heart of the city, Fellowship Denver exists to help people discover and follow the original Jesus. With two growing congregations serving around 1,200 people, we are committed to historic orthodoxy, cultural engagement, and equipping disciples to live faithfully in the modern world. Our vision is to see a gospel movement that fills Denver with spiritually mature, missionally engaged followers of Christ. The North Metro congregation is located in Olde Town Arvada, Colorado, and was launched nearly three years ago. North Metro currently has four rotating bands and two coordinators that oversee music, planning, and production.
The Role
The NM Worship & Arts Director will:
- Lead Worship & Arts ministry and teams for the North Metro Congregation
- Develop and disciple local musicians and worship leaders
- Help plan, lead, and coordinate worship services and special events
- Oversee Sunday Worship teams and production
- Foster a collaborative, gospel-centered worship culture through Spirit-empowered and biblically rooted leadership both on and off the platform
- Partner with staff across both congregations for unified service planning and execution
- Help develop North Metro Prayer Room(s)

A qualified candidate will exhibit:
- Spiritual Maturity: A vibrant relationship with Jesus, grounded in Scripture and led by the Holy Spirit. Elder-potential preferred.
- Leadership & Team Building: Strong ability to lead others, cast vision, build culture, and develop people.
- Organizational Strength: Clear communicator, administratively competent, and responsive.
- Cultural Engagement: Awareness of local arts and passion for engaging creatives with the gospel.
- Servant-Heartedness: Humble, emotionally intelligent, and relationally wise.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, growing environment and embraces change with faith and flexibility.
- Musical & Artistic Proficiency: Skilled in leading worship with excellence and creativity.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of ministry, church, or nonprofit leadership experience
- 5+ years of experience leading worship in a church setting
- Competence with Planning Center Online or equivalent service-planning tools
- Strong musical proficiency (vocals/instrumental) and rehearsal leadership
