Title of Position: Women’s Pastor
Supervisor: Elders of ODF; Senior Pastor
Administrative Supervisor: Administrative Pastor
Hours: Part Time (20 hrs./week)
Salary: Stipend ($1,200 – $1,500 / month) from ODF monthly and the opportunity to raise
support through ODF

Job Purpose
To bring an atmosphere to Open Door Fellowship that invites the congregation to engage in
genuine worship.
Church Attendance
Required attendance every week for Sunday morning service unless absence approved
Meeting Attendance
– Pastoral Staff Meeting (weekly)
– One-on-ones with Administrative Pastor (biweekly)
– One-on-ones with Senior Pastor (1x/month)
– Church Business Meeting (yearly)
– Misc. Meetings as necessary

Duties and Responsibilities
– Women’s Pastoral Care
– Provide pastoral counseling, visitation, prayer, and discipleship for female
congregants
– Teach Women’s Bible Study
– Facilitate Women’s Support Group
– Event Coordination
– Women’s Christmas Tea, Women’s Retreat
– Chili Cook Off
– Funerals, Weddings, Baptisms
– Special Events as necessary
– Additional Pastoral Duties
– Oversee children’s ministry in a supportive roll
– Participate in planning and executing Sunday services (birthday blessing)
– Preach occasionally as needed
– Help fulfill extra duties that the pastoral team deems necessary
– Support Raising
– Develop a financial support team to provide for the personal salary approved by
the elder board.
– Maintain relationships with support team through regular updates, thank you
notes, and personal meetings when possible

Qualifications
– Be comfortable speaking, reading and giving simple directions before groups
– Experience working in a church setting
– An engaging and gracious personality

Work Environment and Physical Demands
