Women’s and Care Ministries Pastor/Director
Reports to: Discipleship and Outreach Pastor
Objective: The Women’s and Care Ministries Pastor/Director will oversee Women’s and Care Ministries, helping others meet Jesus and walk on the discipleship pathway by providing clear on-ramps and programming for the spiritual formation and development of women and the emotional/spiritual care of both men and women in the church at large.
Requirements:
● Adhere to the Statement of Faith of the Evangelical Free Church of America
● Agree with the Kearney EFree Church Mission, Vision, & Philosophy of Ministry
● Follow the Kearney EFree Church Bylaws & Governance Manual
Responsibilities:
Women’s Ministry
● Creates, evaluates, and revises strategy that aligns with the mission, core values, and discipleship model of the church.
● Determines and proposes annual budget for Women’s Ministry programming and monitors and controls expenditures to ensure operation within approved budget.
● Gives directive leadership in the area of teaching, scheduling, and providing relevant women’s spiritual formation training throughout the year.
● Responsible for removing complexity and redundancy across all Women’s Ministry programming and for empowering ministry to women in the context of Life Groups as the primary discipleship community, by working with Discipleship and Global Outreach Pastor, Connections and LifeGroup Pastor in guiding those attending seminars to get connected in LifeGroups.
Care Ministry
● Creates, evaluates, and revises strategy that aligns with the mission, core values, and discipleship model of the church.
● Determines and proposes annual budget for Care Ministry programming and monitors and controls expenditures to ensure operation within approved budget.
● Responsible for discovering and equipping leaders to implement strategy.
● Works with all Care Ministry leaders to ensure programming remains relevant, aligned, and effective.
● Responsible for removing complexity and redundancy across all Care Ministries and positioning this ministry within the context of Life Groups as the primary discipleship community, by working with Discipleship and Global Outreach Pastor, Connections and LifeGroup Pastor in guiding those attending Care Ministry programs to eventually get connected in long term LifeGroups.

Qualifications:
● Evidences the gift of leadership
● Possesses the ability to cast vision that’s in alignment with the church mission. This person must possess the ability to see the overall vision, communicate this vision and own the responsibility of communicating this vision to leadership and those serving in the ministry.
● Excellent communication skills
● Clear commitment to her own ongoing spiritual formation
Education:
● Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science in an area of study related to position. MA preferred.
● Willingness to be credentialed as a pastor in EFCA or similar denomination is preferred.
