Website Developer Needed for Missionary Organization

Description:
A growing missionary organization is seeking a skilled Website Developer to create a fully functional, visually compelling, and user-friendly website that reflects our mission and facilitates our outreach, support-raising, and communication efforts.

This is a project-based opportunity, ideal for someone with a heart for missions and a passion for using their web development skills to support Gospel work around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a modern, fully responsive website from the ground up.
• Collaborate with the ministry team to understand goals, branding, and content needs.
• Build key website components including:
  • Homepage
  • About Us / Our Mission
  • Ministries / Projects
  • Donation Page (with secure giving integration)
  • Blog or News Section
  • Contact Form
• Ensure SEO optimization and basic security protocols.
• Provide basic training for ongoing website maintenance (optional).
• Recommend hosting, CMS (e.g., WordPress), and relevant tools.

Qualifications:

• Experience in website design and development (portfolio or sample sites required).
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) best practices.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Passion for missions or experience working with ministry organizations is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• WordPress or similar CMS platforms
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Payment/donation platform integration (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)
• SEO and website performance optimization

Compensation:
This is a paid contract role. Compensation will be based on scope, experience, and project timeline, to be discussed during the interview process.
