Volunteer Facility Coordinator
Position Overview:
QuietWaters Ministries, a nonprofit organization located in the South Denver Metro area, exists to renew, restore, and strengthen Christian leaders and their families. We provide counseling and retreats for Christian leaders who stay onsite for one to two-weeks.
As the demand for our services continues to grow, we are seeking a reliable and proactive Volunteer Facility Coordinator to do basic maintenance and upkeep of our 8,800-square-foot retreat facility on a 3-acre property. This role requires up 3 hours per week or approximately 10 hours per month to ensure that all facility systems and the property’s appearance are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the facility’s interior and exterior are well-maintained and presentable, addressing issues as they arise.
- Perform basic maintenance repairs (e.g., plumbing, electrical, replacing blinds, windows, screens, and other general repairs).
- Oversee and coordinate vendor services for specialized tasks (e.g., landscaping, deep cleaning, or larger repairs).
- Create, manage, and implement a maintenance schedule, ensuring preventative care for the building and systems.
- Report any significant issues or required repairs to leadership and provide recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with basic maintenance, repairs, and facility oversight.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to oversee and communicate effectively with vendors and contractors.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- A committed, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrated through a lifestyle aligned with Christian values.
- Agreement with QuietWaters’ Statement of Faith, Peaceseekers Convenant, and Confidentiality Agreement.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 10 hours a month, provided weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on needs.
