LOCATION:  Denver, CO (Wheat Ridge)

TYPE OF POSITION: Full-time    

HOURS OF WORK: 40-50 (exempt)

PAY RANGE:  $65K – $75K

TRAVEL:  Occasional travel (some international)

INTRODUCTORY PERIOD: 90 Days

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Video & Multimedia Manager is responsible for planning, producing, and delivering photo and video content for Dare 2 Share and the Gospel Advancing Movement. This role provides creative direction, oversees production workflows, supervises a junior videographer / photographer, and partners with cross-divisional teams to produce compelling, brand-aligned stories. This role also interacts with 3rd-party vendors providing direction and assets as needed to complete projects. The Video & Multimedia Manager ensures the ministry’s visual storytelling is effective, inspiring, and aligned with organizational priorities.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervision & Team Leadership – 25%

  • Provide coaching, task assignments, and oversight to videographer / photographer.
  • Establish clear standards for workflow, file management and retrieval, and production processes.
  • Ensure efficient use of time and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Review and approve staff edits before final delivery.
  • Assist in the creation of the annual creative services budget and manage monthly expenditures.

Video/Photography Strategy & Planning – 15%

  • Develop the annual and quarterly photo and video production plan.
  • Maintain the photo and video production calendar, coordinating with the Marketing Director and other team members as needed.
  • Align photo and video priorities with campaign and ministry needs.

Creative Direction & Story Development – 20%

  • Shape messaging, narrative arc, and script outlines.
  • Lead interviews and guide subjects in storytelling settings.
  • Ensure the creative vision aligns with ministry goals, target audiences, and brand identity.

Production Execution – 20%

  • Lead and/or execute photography and filming for events, testimonials, donor videos, promotional videos, training videos, and scripted pieces.
  • Ensure technical excellence in lighting, audio, composition, and on-site direction.
  • Manage outsourcing needs and supervise freelance support when required.

Post-Production & Quality Control – 20%

  • Perform advanced editing, color grading, audio mixing, and final finishing.
  • Review and approve staff edits before final delivery.
  • Uphold visual quality and brand consistency across all formats.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 3-5+ years of professional video production experience and some photography experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in filming, editing, lighting, and sound capture.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premier Pro and other Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
  • Strong storytelling and interview facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

  • Experience leading creative production within a nonprofit, ministry, or mission-driven organization.
  • Experience leading and developing team members.
  • Working knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, or motion graphics.
  • Experience directing interviews with ministry leaders.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. of camera and lighting equipment.
  • Requires occasional evenings, weekends, or travel (including international) based on production needs.

  • Cataloging of video and image library for storage and access.
