The Video and Motion Graphics Producer is responsible for creating engaging and original media content, including videos and motion graphics, to enhance weekend services, special projects, and large community events. This role involves collaborating with the Creative Content Team, volunteers, contractors, and interns to produce high-quality media, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high standards.

⏤ Responsibilities

Media Content Creation

• Produce and Edit Media Content
  • Create video and motion graphic content for services, social media, and events.
  • Ensure timely editing, encoding, and delivery of video content.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Content Team for high-quality videos.
  • Manage video projects from start to finish, including scripting and post-production.
  • Provide quality control for video projects.

Creative Programming

• Develop Media Projects
  • Collaborate with the Communication Director on impactful media projects.
  • Participate in creative sessions for brainstorming ideas.
  • Research and propose creative concepts for videos and graphics.
  • Contribute artistically throughout the production process.

Volunteer Leadership

• Lead and Develop a Volunteer Team
  • Foster a culture of love and unity within the team.
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers.
  • Enhance the team’s quality, and creativity.
  • Motivate the team by sharing vision and celebrating success.
  • Provide coaching and feedback.

Technical Support and Equipment Management

• Support Media Playback and Equipment
  • Master media playback systems.
  • Assist with loading and playback of finished video files.
  • Oversee production equipment and inventory.
  • Perform regular maintenance and train volunteers on equipment use.
  • Recommend new equipment as needed.

Financial Oversight

• Budget and Expense Management
  • Assess project needs and make budget recommendations.
  • Track expenses and manage resources.

Communication Management

• Ensure Timely and Thorough Responses to Phone and Email Communication Requests
  • Manage email, voicemail, and communication requests in a timely, thorough manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and build trust through professional and sensitive communication.
  • Respond to all communications with professionalism, sensitivity, and a service-orientation mindset.

⏤ Requirements

Educational Background and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven ability to produce, direct, shoot, edit, and deliver complete video projects.

 

Technical and Production Skills

• Proficiency in industry-standard hardware and software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Media Encoder), Cinema 4D, and other 3D programs.
• Experience with digital post-production, various video formats, transcoding, encoding, and distribution.
• Proficiency with digital cinematography and electronic field production (EFP) equipment.
• Basic proficiency with field audio and lighting equipment for production.
• Maintain high video production standards under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion.
• Knowledge of current media trends and sophisticated aesthetics.

• Strong aesthetics and technical skills relevant to video and motion graphics production.
