Position: Nursery Worker

Location: Christ the King Anglican Church (5300 E Florida Ave, Denver, CO 80222)

Hours: Sundays, 4:00-7:00pm

Compensation: $100 per week

Job Overview:

Christ the King Anglican Church is looking for a caring and reliable individual (or team) to provide nursery care during Sunday services. You will be responsible for welcoming and caring for children ages 6 months to 3 years, teaching a brief Bible story (resources provided), and assisting with playtime and activities. A volunteer will assist you, and CPR certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive by 4:00pm to open the nursery and prepare for the children’s arrival.
• Supervise and care for 8-12 children during church services.
• Lead a simple, provided Bible lesson with the children.
• Assist with setting up a kids’ area during meal time and engage with the children.
• Help clean and tidy the nursery after the service and activities.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all children and families.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a nursery or with young children (ages 6 months to 3 years).
• Comfortable teaching simple Bible stories.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a volunteer.
