Sunday Church Service Childcare, 2 hours/week

Barn Church is a small house church (… or should we say barn church) meeting in Castle Rock, CO.

We are seeking a childcare provider for our little ones ranging in age from 8 months-3 years. On a given Sunday, there are 1-5 children. A member of the church will join in helping if there are more than 3 children at a time.

There is a dedicated childcare space full of toys and activities. No formal Sunday School curriculum is currently being taught, it is more so playtime for the little ones.

 

Responsibilities:

• Schedule: Sunday mornings 9:45-11:45 (willing to commit to 2-4 Sundays).
• Fill out “update” notecards for each parent.
• Review children specific needs and execute parent requests.
• Change diapers.
• Administer snack and bottles.
• Watch baby monitor for any little ones who may be down for a nap at this time.
• Clean/sanitize toys after all kids have been picked up.

Qualifications:

• Align with our statement of faith.
• Able to commit 2-4 Sundays a month.
• Previous experience in caring for 2 or more children at a time.
• Previous experience in caring for newborns, infants, and toddlers.
• Communicative: commit to the schedule put in place at the beginning of each month and communicate any needs or ideas for the classroom and children.
• Timely: arrive on time with a positive attitude, ready to engage.
• Energetic: these little ones want to run around, sing, color, read, and craft.
• Adaptive: willing to teach Sunday School curriculum as we develop this area of our church in the months to come.

If you are looking for more, flexible childcare hours – this is also a great connection point to meet families for evening and weekend babysitting jobs! We occasionally have church events that could use childcare support as well.

 

This is a 1099 position, paid $75 per Sunday. Paid bi-weekly by check.
