Alternatives Pregnancy Center’s Mission Statement:
Alternatives Pregnancy Center exists to care for Denver-area women and men in pregnancy-related crisis and offer them a meaningful alternative to abortion. Following the example of Christian love, we seek to meet their emotional, physical and spiritual needs. And we enable and encourage them to choose life every day.
We provide a 24-Hour Helpline, pregnancy tests and options counseling, limited ultrasound services, STD testing and treatment, adoption education, pre- and post-natal medical care referrals, financial and legal referrals, counseling after abortion, positive youth development curriculum and sexual risk avoidance education. All services are provided free of charge
Position Summary:
Oversees the strategic development and implementation of content across all social media platforms.
General Requirements:
· Committed and exemplified relationship with Jesus Christ.
· Committed to Alternatives mission statement and the sanctity of human life.
Education/Experience Requirements:
· A Bachelor’s Degree in internet marketing, journalism, public relations, communications or applicable area of study.
· 1-2 years of experience in managing social media platforms.
· Experience with brand and graphic standards.
· Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and similar creative software.
· Experience in executing a strategic social media plan.
Preferred:
· Familiarity with Alternatives social media pages and presence
· Additional experience in content marketing and/or blogging.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to maintain the Alternatives brand across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating engaging content, including text, video, and images, and will have expertise in photography, videography, and graphic design. They should possess strong verbal and written communication abilities adaptable to different platforms and audiences.
The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. The candidate should be able to develop content that aligns with the organization’s marketing strategy and values, while staying on top of trends and market shifts to drive audience engagement.
In this fast-paced environment, the individual must demonstrate strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines and achieve marketing goals. A solid understanding of social media platforms, scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer), and analytics is essential, as is the ability to track and report on performance metrics. Research skills to identify emerging trends and online conversations are also required.
Above all, the ideal candidate should have a passion for making a positive impact on the community and a commitment to servant leadership, demonstrating Christ-like love in both professional and personal conduct.
