Providence House Live-In Community Director
POSITION SUMMARY
Status: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Reports to: Homes Director
Supervises: Live-in Assistant Director and Care Coordinators
As the full time Director, you will experience the joy of witnessing true life transformation while leading a team that engages in special ways to foster a culture of family, belonging, and growth at our Providence House property.
Providence House is a two-year transformational housing program for single men & women recovering from trauma, addiction, mental illness and homelessness. The program operates in an 1890’s mansion in the Capitol Hill area of Denver where you will be part of a team that engages in meaningful ways to foster a culture of family and belonging.
In addition to living with and daily supporting residents, key components of the program include weekly community meals, individual resident mentoring & spiritual support, resource navigation, and community activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee intake process of new residents
- Oversee accountability program, including goal plans & growth tracking
- Assist in development, implementation and review of program policies & materials
- Coordinate resident support activities
- Enforce policies and manage crisis responses
- Ensure graduation standards are met and oversee graduate transition process
- Help develop annual house/program budget, as well as monitor monthly expenses
- Oversee program fee collection, reports, and database entries
- Train, supervise & mentor staff
- Oversee all house and vehicle maintenance including assisting Facilities Manager by giving contractors access to building/units
- Oversee room inspections, cleaning and refurbishing of all areas of the home
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Strong sense of calling to urban ministry and a mature, personal Christian faith
- Comfortable signing Providence Network’s Statement of Faith
- Wise discernment and experience leading others; positive energy for building a healthy team
- Experience serving people who are recovering from addiction, homelessness or other crises
- Compassionate and able to engage and motivate different personalities with various needs
- Critical thinking and problem solving for managing crisis situations and addressing needs
- Adaptable to change when resident care plans require adjusting for optimum results
- Basic computer literacy and organization skills to manage program records
SALARY: $54,000 – $58,000
*Includes FREE HOUSING valued at $11,000 that also includes utilities, internet, onsite laundry, parking and some meals. The cash comp value of this salary is $43,000 – $47,000
BENEFITS VALUED at $18,000 – $20,000 annually include: Employer-paid medical, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance. Retirement plan with 6% employer contribution. $500 wellness stipend. $50/month cell phone expense reimbursement. Optional employee-paid dental, flex spending, legal/identity protection and discounted personal insurance plans. 11 paid holidays and 16 PTO.
