AsOne Ministries

Salary/Range: $75,000 - $100,000
Location
Denver; Remote
Description:

AsOne Ministries is a faith-driven nonprofit organization making disciples of Jesus and creating sustainable solutions in education, enterprise, health, and agriculture that holistically address poverty in rural, underserved communities. We exist to end spiritual, relational, and economic poverty one community at a time across Uganda — empowering Ugandans to lead the change for their country.

We are at an inflection point as an organization as we scale from 5 to 10 locations by 2028. Today, AsOne has expanded to over 400 employees in Uganda and plans to serve more than 110,000 people in 2026. As our reach expands, we are focused on strengthening systems, demonstrating local sustainability, while investing in the capacity of local Ugandan leadership. This role is essential in helping us manage growth wisely while keeping Christ at the center of our mission.

The Programs Manager collaborates closely with the Executive Director, Uganda, providing leadership support, technical guidance, and program coordination across key functional areas of the organization. This role serves as the governance bridge between U.S. leadership and Uganda operation teams by creating clarity, driving accountability, and ensuring that impact data and financial reports are reliable, timely, and actionable.

In addition to traditional program leadership, this role functions in a portfolio-management capacity—providing structured oversight, governance, and performance management for AsOne’s Uganda operation, goals and objectives. This role ensures that Uganda programs operate with the financial discipline, operational rigor, and strategic clarity expected of a healthy, mission-driven enterprise. This includes ongoing assessment of organizational health, leadership capacity, risks, and opportunities to strengthen long-term value creation and impact.

The ideal candidate is a systems builder, great with project management skills, and a galvanizing leader who thrives on turning vision into execution. They possess strong financial and technical skills, are proficient in Airtable and Google Suite, and leverage AI tools to streamline workflows, strengthen team collaboration, and enhance organizational efficiency.
