PRN DIRECT SERVICE WORKER (DSW) – Denver CO

Safe Places for Women’s new emergency and long-term safe house provides faith-based residential care for women who have experienced sex trafficking or exploitation.

Safe Places for Women is hiring PRN Direct Service Workers. The shifts are “as needed” and may be days, evenings, overnights, and/or during weekend hours. There are no guaranteed number of shifts per week. We require that our PRN DSW staff reject no more than 2 shifts offered in a one month time period. Paid in-person training is offered.

Responsibilities:

– Maintains a safe healing environment for residents.
– Models healthy boundaries in a home environment with the residents and works directly with residents to ensure day-to-day goals are met.
– Provides consistent operations by upholding the program model and resident guidelines.
– All duties to be done in accordance with the mission, values, and goals of Safe Places for Women.

– Works cooperatively with the Program Director to secure the needs of residents.

– Performs other job duties as needed to ensure program integrity and implementation.

Requirements:

– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Must be at least 21 years of age.
– Must have at least one year of experience working in a caretaking role.
– Must successfully complete a background check.

-Must have computer, printer, software skills

-Must be an excellent communicator and show a high level of professionalism
