Position Purpose:

The PEPC Students Pastor is responsible for supporting middle and high school students during key years of their spiritual development. The role involves designing and implementing innovative ministry programs that emphasize biblical instruction, discipleship, outreach, and leadership skills, in accordance with PEPC’s core values: biblical, missional, intergenerational, and relational. This position focuses on creating a structured and supportive environment where students can develop their faith. The pastor works in collaboration with colleagues, parents, volunteers, and church leadership to facilitate students’ growth within the larger church context. Outreach will be an essential aspect of this ministry, intentionally engaging students from the greater Parker community, and building relationships that invite them to be a part of PEPC’s vibrant student life.

Knowledge/Skills and Experience:

  • Strong commitment to Jesus Christ and a passion for loving, evangelizing, and discipling middle and high school students in the Parker community.
  • Alignment with the values and beliefs of PEPC and the EPC.
  • Understanding of adolescent development.
  • Experience facilitating small group discipleship.
  • Skilled in organizing large group programming and youth engagement at events and camps.
  • Organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to connect with students in various settings, both at PEPC and in the community.
  • Interest in integrating students and families into broader church life.
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in technology and social media for ministry use.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and attend overnight functions as required.
