Harvest Church (harvestcares.com) seeks the man God has already called to be its next pastor.
The Overview
Although these qualities may not fit anyone perfectly, these generalizations will reflect this congregation’s next phase of ministry. An ideal pastor would be committed to our mission statement of “Joyfully pointing people to Jesus”.
Harvest is a small-town church in an area centered on agriculture and manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves the small-town life and wants to put down roots in this community. This church is held together by relationships and not by a structure. A strong “people person” will fit best into this atmosphere.
We are looking for a candidate with theological training and ministry experience. Our congregation believes it is important to continue our children’s ministry as well as have the ability to disciple and counsel members. The pastor must have a faith compatible with Harvest’s statement of faith https://www.harvestcares.com/faith.html. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15-17 Hebrews 4:12 2 Peter 1:20-21) Solid Biblical preaching and teaching presented with grace and a sense of humor would fit well here.
The Compensation
Harvest Church presently provides an approximate $75,000.00 total compensation package, including cash salary, housing allowance, medical insurance, retirement fund, and personal development reimbursements. These items are negotiable and will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience.
