4Cs Worship Leader (Part Time)

Position Overview:
The Worship Director at 4Cs will, in cooperation with the staff Tech Director, lead the worship
arts ministry, including musicians, vocalists, and certain team leaders (e.g. the volunteer Choir
Director).

Key Responsibilities:
• The Worship Director will be the primary stage team leader for weekend services,
Wednesday Evening Prayer service, and special services (Ash Wednesday, Christmas Eve,
etc.) working in tandem with the Tech Director, and alongside pastoral staff.
• He or she will be responsible for cultivating dynamic worship services that flow well with
the message content.
• They will build teams by attracting, recruiting, and caring well for volunteers.
• They will work in close relationship with the Tech Director and Pastoral Team in the
execution of weekend services and lead the way in worshipping Jesus personally and
corporately.
What a strong candidate would look like:
• Musically gifted both vocally and from at least one instrument.
• Experienced leader in teaching, mentoring, and caring for a team with a wide range of
skill levels.
• Loves engaging, congregational worship in a range of styles, encompassing both hymns
and modern/contemporary worship, with a focus on lyrical and theological depth.
• Looking to work within a department (and greater church staff) where they are part of a
supported team, not a lone island.
• Committed to being a follower of Jesus and authentically shepherding others along the way.

Pay Range & Estimated Hourly Requirements:
$30-35K annually commensurate with experience.
Estimated 20hrs/week (including Sundays and holiday services)
