Part-Time Nanny Needed – Christian Family in West Aurora

We are a Christian family in West Aurora looking for a caring, dependable, and engaging nanny to care for our two young children. This position would be a great fit for a Denver Seminary student looking for consistent part-time work with a flexible schedule.

Start Date

We are hoping to have someone begin the first week of August.

Schedule

• 2–3 weekdays per week
• 2 days per week are guaranteed
• 6–8 hours per day
• Schedule varies depending on my wife’s nursing schedule, so we’re looking for someone who appreciates some flexibility.
• Start and end times are flexible, as grandparents are available to help with early mornings or later evenings when needed.

Pay

• $15–17/hour when caring for one child
• $17–19/hour when caring for both children
• Final pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.

About Our Kids

• Our son (1 year old): Full of energy, curious, and loves exploring, playing, and being on the move.
• Our daughter (turning 3 in November): Loves reading books, imaginative play, crafts, and spending time outside.

What We’re Looking For

We’re hoping to find someone who:

• Shares Christian values or is comfortable working in a faith-centered home.
• Loves spending time with young children and helping them learn through play.
• Enjoys reading books, playing games, doing simple crafts, and using activities we provide.
• Is willing to take the kids on walks and to the neighborhood park.
• Cleans up after the children’s meals and helps tidy toys before leaving.
• Is reliable, patient, kind, and communicates well.

More than anything, we’re looking for someone who will care for our children with patience, kindness, and love, and who desires to be a positive influence in their lives.

Previous experience as a nanny, babysitter, daycare worker, or in another childcare setting is preferred, but we’re most interested in finding someone who genuinely enjoys caring for children.
