General description of position (taken from Position Description)
– To provide leadership in the development, implementation, and management of the Youth and Children’s Ministries (age infant through grade 12).
– Under the guidance and support of the Senior Associate Pastor, the incumbent will develop, plan, and oversee ministry volunteers and implementation of the Youth and Children’s programs.
– Carry the vision of The Lake of the Woods Church, “Knowing Christ and Making Christ Known” to the youth and children of the church through the TEAMS approach:
Teaching
Evangelizing
Actualizing Art
Missioning
Socializing (Fellowship)
– Work with Elder for Youth and Elder for Children and Young Families to plan for upcoming budget years.
– Coordinate with Elder for Communications to produce timely communications to students and parents through website updates, social media, and emails.
