Who We Are: The Clear Creek Rock House has been a dynamic youth outreach for over twenty years in Idaho Springs. We offer free mentoring, tutoring, after-school activities and events for underprivileged 6th through 12th graders of Clear Creek County. We have developed our programming through the 40 Colorado Assets by the Search Institute to ensure success with our youth. The Rock House has a mission to offer support, guidance, and advocacy for adolescents while they learn and develop, socially and academically.

Mission:  To be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving underprivileged teens and their families in the Clear Creek County community.

Purpose: To love all people unconditionally and without judgement, welcoming the stranger and showing God’s love to the unloved.

Job Summary:  The Mentor Coordinator’s major responsibilities include: managing a team of 20-25 adult volunteer mentors and their mentees, developing and executing the weekly mentoring program held every Tuesday from 3:30 – 8:30 pm during the school year, communicating regularly with parents and community members, and providing monthly mentor training.

This role requires an outgoing, multi-tasking, flexible, computer savvy, detail-oriented, mature, organized problem-solver who is comfortable with public speaking.
