The Role
The Media & Communications Coordinator is a hybrid storyteller and systems thinker—someone who can both share what God is doing and make sure the right details get to the right people at the right time.
The Media & Communications Coordinator is a hybrid storyteller and systems thinker—someone who can both share what God is doing and make sure the right details get to the right people at the right time.
You’ll manage sermon and podcast publishing, coordinate communications projects, lead our social platforms, and regularly film short-form video content that helps tell the story of Jesus at work in the lives of our people.
What You’ll Do
Storytelling & Video Production
Storytelling & Video Production
- Film short-form video content (with clear audio) for testimonies, ministry stories, and social reels
- Prepare footage for post-production support with notes and context
- Lead video shoots with warmth and intentionality
Weekly Content Publishing
- Upload sermons to major platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, Pushpay, Website)
- Schedule and publish The Centered Podcast (audio/video provided)
- Maintain Sunday slides and screens (ProPresenter or similar tools)
- Submit weekly content for reels and thumbnails
- Keep media files organized and accessible
Project Coordination
- Run point on communication projects (events, campaigns, series launches)
- Write creative briefs, track timelines, and follow through
- Collaborate with ministry leaders to clarify and execute their communication goals
Social Media Management
- Lead Mosaic’s presence on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube (and possibly TikTok)
- Write captions, post content, respond to messages, and guide strategy
- Manage publishing schedules and engagement metrics
Light Graphic Work
- Use Photoshop or Canva to tweak graphics, prep slides, and make quick visual adjustments
- Occasionally assist with content delivery when outside support isn’t needed
You Might Be a Great Fit If…
- You’re a strong storyteller, both visually and verbally
- You’re organized, proactive, and love bringing clarity to complex things
- You have experience filming with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and capturing clean audio
- You’re willing to learn tools like ProPresenter, Photoshop, Canva, and other media platforms as needed
- You’re comfortable managing timelines and using tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Trello
- You resonate with Mosaic’s tone, mission, and Jesus-centered culture
