Major Gifts Officer
The Company:
Immerse Arkansas was founded in 2010 with the mission of transforming youth from crisis into overcomers. The nonprofit organization serves youth between the ages of 14 and 24, whose trauma, abuse, and neglect have wreaked havoc on their relationships, identity, and resilience, multiplying the challenges of transitioning to adulthood successfully. Immerse Arkansas builds a circle of unconditional support around each youth from crisis, investing the time and tools needed to co-create a pathway to adulthood.
Immerse is a community of redemptive leaders who are grateful for the kindness shown to them by God and others, who embrace the blending of faith and strategy, and believe that adolescence and young adulthood offer an unparalleled opportunity for life-change. We believe that no young person is “beyond hope” of healing and work to see each individual life restored. We reject the temptation to believe that we can rescue, save, fix, or manage youth from crisis, and we refuse to tell the “hero story” of helping. Rather, we embrace the messy and slow work of transformation, accepting the invitation that we ourselves will be transformed in the process.
