  • LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO LIVE WITH US IN EXCHANGE FOR NANNYING OR LOOKING FOR A NANNY AND ALSO SOMEONE TO LIVE WITH US, WHATEVER WORKS OUT BEST!

We are a family of 5 (Mom, Dad, 4 year old girl, 3 year old boy, and newborn boy). Mom (Darrelle) was a student and has also been a professor at Denver Seminary. This is a loving clean beautiful home (if we do say so ourselves) waiting for you to come be a part of it!

Nanny Responsibilities (as trade for housing + utilities, will negotiate hourly rate if just nanny):

  • 12 hours/ week: 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) of childcare from around 10:30 am – 4:30 pm this will be care for 5 month old on both days, Picking up 4 year old from pre-school on T/W, picking up 3 year old on T and care for him with baby on Wednesday.
  • Basic meal prep 1x a week on Tuesdays, to be done during nap times
  • Basic household chores: Laundry, Basic Cleaning, Organization of clothes/toys on Wednesdays, to be done during nap times
  • 1.5 hours/week: 1 date night every 2 weeks (3 hours of childcare + bedtime routine + being at home until we get home)- Flexible for when this happens!
  • 1 night a week being home after bedtime to watch kids monitors so we can go out after 7pm (if nanny also lives with us)

Living Situation/ Perks (if only looking to live rent is $750 including utilities):

  • Private Room with adjoining Private Bathroom in basement, good lighting with fire-escape access dug-out window
  • Access to our in-house gym/Peloton (we can negotiate hours of everyone’s use)
  • Use of basement office for work/studying as needed (we can also negotiate hours of use)

The ideal person:

  • Wants to become part of the family, but also wants their own space/ time / hobbies etc.
  • Is a clear assertive communicator because living together will require checking in and making sure the situation is working for everyone : )
  • Is not offended that mom is an introvert and will likely need her own space and time, will also respect your space and time/energy
  • Realistically realizes that 3 children live in this house : )

Applying

  • We will need at least 2 references of prior childcare families, if you have never done this before we are open to talking through what would make you a good candidate
  • If just looking to rent a room, also looking for 2 references from prior living situations
  • Child/Infant CPR training (or willingness to do a training)
