Live-In Community Manager – Joy House (Full-time)

POSITION SUMMARY
Status: Full-time (40 hours/week) Reports to: Program Director Supervises: Live-In Assistant Manager and Community Partners
The Live-In Community Manager, which is a female employee position, leads a residential community where women and children experience stability, healing, and transformation. This role blends relational leadership, staff supervision, and program oversight within a shared living environment. You will live on-site and play a central role in shaping a home marked by structure, belonging, accountability, and grace—supporting both residents and staff in their growth.
Joy House is an apartment community located in the Curtis Park neighborhood of Denver, serving up to 8 families (women and children) transitioning from domestic violence, addiction, and housing instability. The smaller community size allows for deeper relationships, individualized support, and a strong sense of family within the home.
Core program elements include weekly community meals, resident mentoring and spiritual support, collaboration with clinical services, and community-building activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Leadership & Resident Engagement
● Cultivate a structured, supportive, and relational home environment
● Provide weekly one-on-one mentoring (up to 5 residents), offering relational and spiritual support
● Support resident goal plans in collaboration with the clinical team
● Coordinate community activities (meals, groups, outings, and celebrations)
● Address resident challenges and non-compliance with both accountability and care
Staff Leadership & Development
● Supervise and support live-in staff (Assistant Manager and Community Partners)
● Facilitate regular staff meetings and clear team communication
● Coordinate on-duty schedules, including evenings and weekends
● Develop staff strengths through coaching, feedback, and support
● Foster a healthy, unified team culture aligned with Providence Network values
Program Oversight & Operations
● Uphold program structure, expectations, and house standards
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
● Residents experience safety, belonging, and measurable progress
● Staff are aligned, supported, and effective in their roles
● Documentation is completed accurately and within required 24-hour timeframes
● The home operates with consistency, structure, and warmth
● Challenges are addressed proactively with both compassion and accountability
● Strong collaboration exists between residential and clinical teams
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
● Demonstrates a mature, personal Christian faith and a clear sense of calling to relational, urban ministry
● Comfortable signing Providence Network’s Statement of Faith
● Experience leading teams and developing others
● Experience working with women and children impacted by addiction, domestic violence, homelessness, or trauma
● Strong relational skills and ability to engage a wide range of personalities
● Sound judgment and critical thinking in crisis situations
● Ability to balance structure with flexibility in a dynamic environment
● Organized with basic computer skills for communication, documentation, and program tracking
● Partner closely with clinical staff to support resident progress and care plans
● Respond to crises using sound judgment and established protocols
● Ensure timely communication and follow-through across the team
● Oversee and ensure accurate and timely documentation, including service notes entered within 24 hours in accordance with Medicaid (QBHA) and organizational requirements; support and hold staff accountable to documentation standards
● Oversee property care, including cleanliness, maintenance coordination, and supplies
Organizational Engagement
● Participate in Providence Network meetings, trainings, and events
● Maintain positive relationships with volunteers, donors, and community partners
● Pursue ongoing personal and professional development
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
● Salary: $46,800
● Housing (Estimated Value: $13,500): Private 1-bedroom apartment, utilities, internet, on-site laundry, and some meals
