The Position:

The Counselor will counsel participants using professional counseling methods and identity development tools. They will present the opportunity of counseling options and teach on the importance of counseling and personal identity to the participants. They will be a part of the counseling department working across sites as needed in 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Individual Counseling for up to 8 one-hour sessions for 10 to 15 Leaders per class as needed, four classes per year.
• Learn and implement Identity Development tools and complete approximately 5 ID sessions with 10 to 15 program participants per class, four classes per year.
• All sessions are to be held onsite within a private room at a CrossPurpose location.
• Engaged in marketing clinical services both internally within CrossPurpose and externally.
• Present opportunities to participants two times each class, with either an announcement or teaching a class.
• Willing to help develop and implement promotional approaches to help build caseload and utilization of our services.
• Schedule and track all meetings with program participants within any CrossPurpose and Professional Counseling Platform.
• Honor and abide by all rules and ethical standards of both confidentiality and mandatory reporting and will not share any confidential or personal health information of any clients with CrossPurpose, except with the client’s express written permission. Will comply with rules and ethical standards in place by Dept of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) or your licensing boards, whichever has stricter guidelines.
• Receive permission in a release of information form for spiritual information within sessions to be shared outside of the meetings for further support within CrossPurpose Staff.
• Communicate and Coordinate with the Vice President of Program and Spiritual Team as Spiritual discipleship opportunities arrive via a release of information form and next steps of opportunities for Spiritual growth.
• As Sites are developed, collaborate and support other Counselors as needed.

Qualifications 

• Must have an active LPC, ACS, LMFT or LCSW License in the state of Colorado
• Medicaid approved preferred
• Substance use certifications such as a CAC or LAC certification is preferred, but not required
• High emotional intelligence
• Comfortable in engaging and motivating people around our services
• Mature Christian faith
• Ability to become proficient quickly in Google G Suite and other software.
• Deep passion for the CrossPurpose mission and values.
• Employee must provide a working laptop (PC preferred) and smartphone.

Salary + Benefits:

Hours: 40 hours/week: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, occasional other hours as scheduled by your supervisor. 2024

Salary/Wage: $70,000 – $84,000

Annually Performance Bonus: Up to 5% of salary

Vacation: 15 days per year, plus the office is closed Christmas Day – New Years Day and staff have limited duties

Sick Days: 6 days per year
