Intern – Korean Global Campus (KGC)
GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB FUNCTION:
This internship plays a vital role in supporting Denver Seminary’s mission to prepare individuals to engage the world with the transformative power of the Gospel. By contributing to the organization and success of the PRS and JSU programs, the intern will directly impact efforts to equip others for meaningful engagement in their faith and community. This connection underscores the importance of the intern’s work in advancing our broader goals, fostering a sense of purpose and alignment with the Seminary’s vision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinates and facilitates weekly PRS and JSU sessions, ensuring all necessary resources and materials are well-prepared and maintained
- Monitors and records weekly progress for PRS and JSU
- Assists in developing and implementing strategies to promote and expand PRS and JSU
- Handles general filing and reporting tasks
- Replicates recurring tasks as needed
- Undertakes special projects as assigned
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Regular attendance at PRS and JSU sessions is required
- Demonstrates an understanding and appreciation of PRS and JSU, with a willingness to learn and receive training
- Skilled in office administration
- Customer-service oriented, with an aptitude for facilitating group discussions
- Communicates professionally and effectively, both in written and spoken forms
- Adaptable and open to handling varied and interruptive tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a committed personal relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrate a lifestyle consistent with the Seminary’s Community Values and Behavioral Commitments
- Affirms and agrees with Denver Seminary’s statement of faith
- Demonstrates maturity, integrity, and professionalism when interacting with students, colleagues, and the public
- Self-motivated, takes initiative, and able to work well under supervision
- Reliable and punctual
- The intern should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook, as well as skilled in internet research and any other relevant tools.”
- A self-starter, with excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Prioritizes accuracy and attention to detail
- Manage assigned duties responsibly, effectively handling interruptions and multiple tasks simultaneously
- Upholds personal integrity and maintains a personable demeanor in all professional settings

Success in this role will be measured by the intern’s ability to effectively organize and facilitate PRS and JSU sessions each week, meet deadlines for assigned tasks, and demonstrate clear communication with team members.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office working conditions including computer usage may require occasional standing, walking, long periods of sitting, climbing stairs, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
