Job Description:

Interim Worship Director/Pastor

CHBC is currently looking for an interim worship director/pastor. We would like this role to turn into an ongoing part time or potentially a full time opportunity. (A full time role would be considered after a year of service and require – other pastoral skills, ministry responsibilities, and must align with the current needs of the church)

Duties:

The interim worship director would lend support and stability through prayer and collaborative leadership to the current worship team comprising of about 12 individuals. This individual will report to and work in partnership with the lead pastor. They must love and care for the current worship team. It is also our desire that they would integrate well into our current staff team while loving the church.

The duties of this role include (1) facilitating two worship services on Sunday morning, (2) leading a weekly worship practice for the team, (3) engaging with the staff in a monthly or bi-monthly meeting, (4) and helping the pastor facilitate a monthly prayer service. 

The worship director will collaborate with the worship team & pastor to select songs, provide needed musical videos, scores, etc for the team, and make sure that the worship sets are uploaded for Sunday services.
