The Position:

We have an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair our client’s HVAC systems. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will travel to each client’s property (primarily light commercial/commercial) to inspect their current equipment, locate unit faults, and conduct necessary repairs or maintenance routines. The Technician must be skilled in cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.

You will install and ensure that new systems work efficiently. The Technician will also provide professional guidance in all aspects of the repair service to provide the quality service our customers are accustomed to receiving. Customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort should be your highest priority to be successful in this role. Ideal candidates have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and will be respectful.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect client’s current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
• Diagnosing HVAC systems with electrical and mechanical defects.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
• Maintain a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources
• Participate in technical training and continued education in our field
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
• Ability to work after hours when on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalently
• Vocational, training, or apprenticeship of an HVAC program
• 10 + years of training in HVAC and willingness for more training in the area of HVAC.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
• Working knowledge of boiler systems
• Current HVAC journeyman license
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work after hours when on call.
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated
• Heart to mentor others

Salary & Benefits:

• $25-$40/hour based on experience
