The Household Manager will professionally oversee and manage the administrative and operational needs of the Employer’s private residence in the Bonnie Brae area of Denver. The integrity, confidentiality, organization, and financial accuracy of the household are of the highest importance. Specific duties may evolve as household needs change.
Start Date: Available Now
Schedule: 20–30 hours / week
Hourly Rate: $40–$50, based on experience
EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Household Management Duties
• Sort, open, scan, and organize incoming mail
• Identify and manage financial documents including bills, property tax invoices, valuation notices, insurance renewals, utilities, and vendor invoices
• Oversee and execute bill payments in a timely manner
• Track recurring expenses and ensure deadlines are never missed
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
• Gather tax documentation and coordinate with accountant as directed
• Review invoices for accuracy prior to payment
• Track household expenditures and maintain clear records
• File monthly FAMLI online wage reports
Vendor & Property Oversight
• Coordinate and schedule home maintenance and repairs
• Communicate with service providers and contractors
• Obtain bids as requested
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure quality completion
• Oversee service appointments
Household Operations
• Run errands as requested
• Order household supplies as needed
• Manage deliveries and returns
• Maintain organization of household systems and supplies
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation
• Hourly rate: $40–$50, depending on experience
• Paid through professional payroll with applicable withholdings
Paid Time Off
• Two (2) pro-rated weeks paid time off annually (40 hours), accrued at 3.33 hours per month
Paid Holidays — 8 Pro-Rata Holidays per Year
(If a holiday falls on a non-scheduled day, for example, a Monday holiday on a Tuesday–Friday schedule, it would not apply.)

• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve
Sick Leave
• Accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 35 hours annually
• Accrual begins on first date of employment; hours and usage tracked by payroll company
• Sick days are not paid out upon termination of the contract
Reimbursement
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate for work-related driving
• Expenses reimbursed with receipts, or paid via household card
CONFIDENTIALITY
Employee agrees that all private information regarding the household, finances, schedules, and personal matters is strictly confidential and may not be disclosed. This obligation survives termination.
GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL
Immediate termination may occur for dishonesty, misuse of funds, breach of confidentiality, repeated tardiness or absence, substance use on duty, or failure to perform responsibilities.
