Camp/Outdoor Ministry
Guest – woman impacted by incarceration
Retreat “Guests” needed for March 27 (4pm) to March 29 (4pm) at Camp Elim in Woodland Park, CO.
Guest registration is open util February 25, 2026.
EVENT: Kairos Prison Outside Retreat for women impacted by incarceration by themselves or others.
Many people in the outside world do not understand the pain of being incarcerated or having a loved one incarcerated. The Weekend is designed to provide support, encouragement, and a loving community.
We hope that you choose to participate in Kairos Outside and your experience becomes strength for your journey.
WHAT: Kairos means “God’s Special Time.”
Kairos Outside is a safe place where women gather together to share the impact that incarceration has had on them and their families. Kairos Outside Guests are women who are “doing time” alongside their family/friends who are incarcerated or women who were previously incarcerated.
These women are Guests and are given a safe environment in which to share with other women who have been through similar experiences.
The Weekend process provides an opportunity to not only explore one’s relationship with God, but to also experience a time of fun, music, great food, and community.
WHEN: Arrive 4-4:30 on Friday March 27. Depart March 29 4pm. Transportation is not provided as team members go early for set-up, but we try to set up car pools with other guests. If you are able to drive and take another guest, it gives you the chance to meet a new friend!
WHO: Females age 20+, age 18 if attending with an adult 20 yrs of age.
DETAILS: Cost is free to guests.
