Food Service Assistant
Sonrise Mountain Ranch holds week-long retreats throughout the summer, hosting families who desire to deepen their relationships with one another and focus on the things that matter most, while enjoying our beautiful mountain setting. Our Food Service Team plays an instrumental role in these get-aways, preparing and serving delicious meals that are far from typical “summer camp” fare for 40-60 individuals per retreat.
Salary for this position is $1200 per month, and includes all meals and lodging. A small travel stipend is also available for both in-state and out-of-state employees.
No specific food service experience is required, as our awesome permanent food service staff provides full training. Our kitchen team is instrumental in the work God does at Sonrise…they pray as they work throughout each retreat!
Summer Food Service Assistants and permanent staff members spend dedicated time together each week with the goal of becoming more like Christ; they have the opportunity to grow in their understanding of Christ-like leadership, ministering to families, and living in Biblical community through their experience at Sonrise.
