We’re seeking an energetic, organized, and spiritually passionate director to lead and grow our family ministry. The Berean Family Ministries Director will be responsible for overseeing Berean Kids (birth – 5th grade) and Berean
Students (6th – 12th grade). This role involves providing vision and direction, empowering leaders, influencing curriculum development, and recruiting and training volunteer teams. Additionally, the director will actively engage with the community to meet and recruit students, demonstrating a presence in their spaces.

Berean Bible is a nondenominational church that was born in the summer of 1973 by a group of people who passionately want to get personal with, find joy in, and relentlessly pursue Jesus. Berean is a growing and revitalized church with a small staff committed to keeping up with what God is doing in our midst & what He wants to do in our growing & vibrant city.

POSITION ORGANIZATION

1. Administration (40%)
   • Curriculum research, oversight, implementation,
     and development
   • Volunteer scheduling and recruitment
   • Database management, follow-up, and organization
   • Budget oversight and
     coherence
2. Overall Staff Involvement (20%)
   • Staff meetings (participation, communication, vision casting)
   • Ministry Mentorship & Accountability with Lead Pastor and leadership teams
   • Communication and encouragement of Berean Student staffing
3. Discipleship (40%)
   • Multiply yourself in a team of apprentice coaches leading volunteers
   • Shepherd entire Student volunteers
   • Weekly program execution & teaching.

POSITION DETAILS

• Flexible hours; Compensation to be determined.
• Flexible weekday schedule with required presence on Sundays (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM) and Wednesday evenings (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM).
• Works together with the Lead Pastor within Berean’s elder-led structure.
