The Executive Director (ED) serves as the chief executive officer of RCM and is responsible for advancing the mission, strategic vision, and sustainability of the organization. The ED will provide dynamic leadership, ensure effective program execution, strengthen internal systems, and steward relationships with stakeholders and the community according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors. Guidance and direction is provided by the President, the Board, and its Executive Committee.

Qualifications Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Education, Social Work, Public Administration, or related field.

· Minimum of seven (7) years of senior leadership experience, at least five (5) of which shall have been in a supervisory role performing substantially comparable functions to acquire skills necessary to manage programs and activities of a nonprofit or community-based organization.

· Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and scale programs.

· Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and fundraising efforts.

· Knowledge of the principles and techniques of grant administration, contract administration and negotiation, community organization, fiscal and organizational management, principles and practices of marketing and public relations.

· Demonstrated commitment to faith-based community development.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred

· MBA or other equivalent advanced degree in a related field.

· Experience with charter school development and education leadership.

· Knowledge of housing support services, youth development, or wraparound services.

· Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities facing underserved families and children.
