Alternatives Pregnancy Center’s Mission Statement:

Alternatives Pregnancy Center exists to care for Denver-area women and men in pregnancy-related crisis and offer them a meaningful alternative to abortion. Following the example of Christian love, we seek to meet their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. And we enable and encourage them to choose life every day.

We provide a 24-Hour Helpline, pregnancy tests and options counseling, limited ultrasound services, STD testing and treatment, adoption education, pre-and post-natal medical care referrals, financial and legal referrals, counseling after abortion, positive youth development curriculum, and sexual risk avoidance education. All services are provided free of charge.

Executive Assistant Position Summary:

This position provides administrative tasks, communication, and donor relations support to the Executive Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Calendar management: Organize calendars and appointments and prioritize sensitive matters. Assist in all meeting agendas and distribute them accordingly.
  • Board Communication: Maintain all board documentation on SharePoint, coordinate final review of monthly board report, prepare for all board meetings, and upload all monthly financials to SharePoint.
  • Communication: Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications, and respond appropriately.
  • Document preparation: Prepare and edit correspondence, memos, presentations, and other documents.
  • Research: Conduct research, assemble and analyze data, and prepare reports or recommendations.
  • Travel arrangements: Coordinate travel, itineraries, and agendas.
  • Administrative policies: Provide input into developing and revising administrative policies, procedures, standards, and methods
  • Communication with staff: Communicate objectives, tasks, and decisions to staff on behalf of the executive.
  • Interaction with Major Donors: Interact with major donors as needed and maintain the Executive Director Portfolio in Bloomerang.
  • Record keeping: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records for the grant and foundation websites and update clinic information on all affiliation sites. Maintain and stay aware of all trademark deadlines.
  • Minor accounting: Perform minor accounting duties
  • Event Assistance: Attend all fundraising events and assist as needed throughout the planning and implementation.

Part Time 20-24 hours per week, 4 days a week, in-person.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
