Description:
The Director of Student Ministries will support Mountainview’s mission of Glorifying God, Growing in Jesus, and Going into the World.
This part time (20-25 hrs/week) position will be a key role of the Family Ministry department, with the anticipation this will grow into a full time role.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work collaboratively with the lead pastor and staff team of Mountainview Christian Church
- Oversee our student ministries (middle school and high school).
- Key leader of the weekly gathering and youth events throughout the year.
- Key leader in equipping and developing a growing team of volunteer leaders and ministry volunteers
- Identify and disciple key student leaders.
- Be a key leader, incorporating Mountainview’s mission, vision, and values into
our student ministry department. - Develop positive relationships with students and their parents.
