Our child sponsorship ministry has been serving in rural Uganda for 26 years. We are seeking a US based (preferrably in CO) leader to passionately guide this growing organization into the future.

Responsibilities

• overseeing operations and fundraising, cultivating relationships with donors
• managing finances and budgets
• managing the ministry website
• formulating policies in both the US and Uganda
• traveling to Uganda, at least, biannually for support and staff training as well as periodic fundraising travel within the US
• supporting and collaborating closely with our founder and board of directors to advance our mission

Qualifications

• Strong Christian commitment and passion for the vision of the ministry
• Excels in verbal and written communication
• Possesses a solid background in nonprofit work along with fundraising and financial management experience
• Demonstrate strong writing skills
• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and QuickBooks as well as a willingness to learn new CRM software and basic knowledge of or willingness to learn WordPress are essential for success in this role.
