Counseling Intern, LPCC, LPC
Authentic Life Christian Counseling is a faith-based private practice. We are passionate about people’s stories and the redemption and healing of the broken parts of those stories. ALCC seeks to glorify God by making professional counseling that thoroughly integrates psychology and theology available to those seeking emotional, spiritual, and relational health.
Authentic Life Christian Counseling envisions participating in God’s redemptive work in the world by supporting highly skilled counselors in the practice of an integrated, relational model of Christian counseling.
We are currently looking for qualified counselors who would like to join our practice. We are open to therapists seeking practicum or internship experiences, Licensure candidates (LPCC), and fully licensed clinicians (LPC, MFT).
You will work primarily out of our Lakewood or Westminster offices as well providing online tele-health time slots, if desired.
ALCC offers an attractive fee split (70/30) with an independent contracting structure. ALCC uniquely designed the fee structure to cover business operating costs, with the majority of the income going to the clinicians. Income structure is based on experience and is unpaid for internships, $115 (split 70/30) for LPCC, and $130 (split 70/30) for LPC or MFT

ALCC’s expectations and requirements for counselors include:
Masters in Mental Health Counseling or similar, required.
State licensure: LPCC, LPC, LMFT, (if not currently in a Master’s training program.)
Belief in ALCC’s mission, vision, and statement of faith.
Attend group consultation every three weeks on Friday mornings (9-10:30)
Integration in therapy practice of Christian faith, when permitted by client.
