Southeast Aurora family seeking a companion/exercise buddy for their 30 year-old son who lives with an acquired brain injury. Our son is a fun loving, happy young man who loves to be outside, listen to music and do just about anything in the community. 

The position includes spending time in the community doing a variety of things- hiking, volunteering, working out, visiting museums-things to promote good health, growth and independent living skills. We are looking for a companion to spend time each week with our son (5-10 hours), with the potential of adding some weekends, evenings and overnights. We can be flexible and work with your schedule.

The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working out, being active, is creative and likes to experience the community and has an interest in being a positive influence in our son’s life. Good sense of humor is a must, as our son loves to laugh and have fun!

Applicant must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. 

Compensation commensurate with experience.
