College Engagement Coordinator
Alternatives Pregnancy Center’s Mission Statement:
Alternatives Pregnancy Center exists to care for Denver-area women and men in pregnancy-related crisis and offer them a meaningful alternative to abortion. Following the example of Christian love, we seek to meet their emotional, physical and spiritual needs. And we enable and encourage them to choose life every day.
We provide a 24-Hour Helpline, pregnancy tests and options counseling, limited ultrasound services, STD testing and treatment, adoption education, pre- and post-natal medical care referrals, financial and legal referrals, counseling after abortion, positive youth development curriculum and sexual risk avoidance education. All services are provided free of charge.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team in developing and executing a strategic outreach program aimed at local universities and colleges. This role involves promoting awareness of Alternatives programs and services through education and relationship-building with campus communities in the Denver-metro area. The individual will cultivate relationships with key campus departments such as Title IX, counseling centers, health services, financial aid, student clubs, and campus housing. Additionally, they will represent Alternatives through tabling, event attendance, and resource fairs. In collaboration with the communications team, this person will also create and distribute marketing materials, ensuring effective outreach on campus.
Requirements:
- Committed and exemplified relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Committed to Alternatives mission statement and the sanctity of human life.
- Community focused work or internship experience.
- Experience in community relations, public speaking and campus life.
- A well-versed understanding of current and emerging social issues on campus related to unintended pregnancy, sexual health and abortion.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Bilingual / English and Spanish speaking candidates are a priority.

- Self-motivated, energetic, creative, and able to multitask
- High emotional intelligence and spiritual maturity
- Comfortable handling difficult topics related to pregnancy and reproductive health
- Willing to travel within the Denver metro area and work independently and within a team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Campus Relations:
- Develop strategic outreach plan for campus engagement.
- Develops relationships and contacts with college/university campus communities in the Denver-metro area.
- Identify and build relationships with Title IX campus departments, plus other key campus contacts like counseling centers, health centers, financial aid departments, student clubs, and campus-housing.
- Represents Alternatives services through tabling, event attendance and resource fairs.
Marketing:
- In collaboration with the communications team:
- Create, update, and distribute campus marketing collateral.
- Suggest campus specific social and digital advertisements and campus webpage content.
- Assist with the development of the campus webpage.
The role requires an individual with a strong passion for outreach, community engagement, and promoting Alternatives Pregnancy Center’s mission.
