Alternatives Colorado’s Mission Statement:

Alternatives Colorado exists to care for Denver-area women and men in pregnancy-related crisis and offer them a meaningful alternative to abortion. Following the example of Christian love, we seek to meet their emotional, physical and spiritual needs. And we enable and encourage them to choose life every day.

We provide a 24-Hour Helpline, pregnancy tests and options counseling, limited ultrasound services, STD testing and treatment, adoption education, pre- and post-natal medical care referrals, financial and legal referrals, and counseling after abortion. All services are provided free of charge.

You demonstrate excellent organizational and leadership skills, effectively managing office operations while supervising and supporting staff and volunteers. You organize, plan, and evaluate program services while providing compassionate, client-centered options counseling. You train, supervise, and support Client Service Associates and volunteers, ensuring strong program fidelity and a high standard of care.

Position Summary: This position primarily manages our Arvada office. Organizes, plans, and evaluates Pregnancy and STD program services while providing direct options counseling to clients. The position trains, supervises, and supports Client Service Associates and volunteers, maintaining strong program fidelity and compassionate, client-centered service. The role ensures high-quality care through accurate record keeping, monitoring key metrics, and overseeing client services at the Arvada office. This position functions as part of the larger Client Services team.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for direct supervision of Client Services Associates and in office Client Services volunteers.

Requirements:

• Committed, mature relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with Alternatives mission and sanctity-of-life values.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field required.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work.
• Experience with vulnerable populations and/or crisis counseling.
• Spanish-speaking ability preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling, support, follow-up, and case management for clients.
• Provide counseling input and oversight for Ultrasound and STD/STI clients.
• Maintain accurate client documentation and statistics.
• Refer clients to appropriate external resources.
• Serve as Client Advocate with outside agencies and answer office calls.
• Participate in Helpline on-call rotation (~once/month).
• Ensure adherence to policies and consistency across offices.
• Maintain client resources and support daily office operations
