Client Services Associate
Position Summary:
Provide outstanding support, education and resources to clients and patients impacted by unplanned pregnancy and/or compromised sexual health in a faith-based environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Assists Client Services Directors in direct supervision of in-office volunteers.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in related field including Psychology or Social Work.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work.
- Experience with vulnerable population and/or crisis counseling.
- Spanish speaking.
Skills and Attitude:

- A well-versed understanding of current and emerging issues related to unintended pregnancy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Counseling:
- Counsel clients as needed.
- Provide on-going support for clients as needed.
- Act as an advocate with other agencies to which clients are referred.
- Answer Helpline calls and schedule appointments during office hours.
- Exemplify excellence taught through The Alternatives Approach.
- Case management of clients’ needs.
- Oversee the maintenance of client records on CenterPointe/eKyros.
- Intake of donations for Mom and Baby Gift Program. Log donations and coordinate their delivery to the administrative office.
- Coordinate with the Client Services Director to communicate with volunteers regarding updated policy and procedure changes.
- Coordinate with the Client Services Director to schedule volunteers to meet the needs of clients.
Ultrasound Program: (All clinics)
- Schedule dates and times for Ultrasound appointments in conjunction with the Nurse Manger and volunteer sonographers each month.
Administration:
- Keep volunteers updated on community resources through monthly emails and updates.
- Attend monthly Client Services Directors meetings.
- Assist with coordination of volunteer schedules.
- Implement and adhere to Alternatives’ Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain stock of client resources.
- Handle in-office calls relating to clients, social services or community resources.
- Open, sort and respond to client service mail and email.

We provide a 24-Hour Helpline, pregnancy tests and options counseling, limited ultrasound services, STD testing and treatment, adoption education, pre- and post-natal medical care referrals, financial and legal referrals, counseling after abortion, positive youth development curriculum and sexual risk avoidance education. All services are provided free of charge.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.50 – $23.50 per hour
