Location: The Light of Christ Anglican Church (TLC), 4000 W. Yale Ave., Denver, CO 80219
Hours: 25 hours a week
Salary: $28,000 — 33,000 per year

Overview
This position supports the ministry of TLC through its role as the operational and informational hub of the parish. This person’s skill, organization, and gracious personality will help the church’s operations run smoothly. A good administrator lifts the administrative and clerical load so the pastor can effectively focus attention on the core ministry responsibilities of church leadership.
The best candidate for this role will be someone who understands parish life and operations, with a good balance of being approachable and gracious as the face of the office while also being firm and principled as the custodian of our processes.

Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position fall into 3 main categories:
Administrative and Clerical: These include, but are not limited to, the examples below.
- Be the information hub of the church
- Coordinate the church calendar
- Maintain church files, minutes, and records
- Ensure safety and other policy compliance
- Oversee (or establish) relationships with vendors, contractors, and agents on behalf of the church’s needs.
- Oversee the church nursery ministry
- Maintain office supplies
Communication: These include, but are not limited to, the examples below.
- Update the weekly newsletter
- Update information on the church website as necessary
- Prepare worship bulletins
- Oversee parish announcements and updates
Event Coordination: These include, but are not limited to, the examples below.
- Ensure the smooth running of Sunday Worship from a logistical standpoint
- Assist the rector in the planning and execution of special services (weddings, funerals, baptisms, Holy Week, etc.)
- Coordinate volunteers
- Coordinate churchwide events outside of Sunday morning worship
- Maintain building/facility schedules
Other Expectations
- A reasonable level of participation in the life of the church
- Attendance at staff meetings
- Regular 1:1 meetings with the Sr. Pastor
- Ability to work well in a team ministry context
- Enjoys and encourages a fun environment in the ministry
Desired Strengths
- Experience in a church admin role is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Some cross-cultural experience will be an advantage
- A clear testimony of humble and vibrant faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
