Job Board

The Chaplain provides spiritual care, counseling, and crisis intervention for patients, families and team members of Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO).  The Chaplain offers spiritual guidance and resources during hospitalization and periods of illness, crisis and loss, providing services to a diverse population encompassing all faiths.

• EDUCATION – Master of Divinity, Pastoral Counseling, Theology, or related field; 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education at an ACPE accredited teaching center.
• EXPERIENCE – One (1) year of spiritual care or pastoral ministry experience.
• CERTIFICATION(S) – Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) eligible. Certification completion within two years of start of employment.
• Licensure – Endorsement for Ministry in a Hospital setting or Certificate of Ordination by a recognized religious organization.
