Job Board

I am the current care companion from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The family is seeking someone to provide care from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, M-F with the potential for additional hours. I am the first point of contact and will pass your information along to the family if it seems like a good fit.

The client has mild Alzheimer’s, primarily affecting her memory and ability to learn new routines. She relies heavily on her hearing aids and smokes a few cigarettes a day, mostly outdoors. There are no pets in the home, and no medication management is required. She prefers to do her own housekeeping, so there are very few chores involved. M doesn’t drive, so a reliable car is required (mileage reimbursed) M loves to be out of the house, plus she doesn’t like to cook. Perhaps you do!

The family is wonderful to work for, and the client is a delight. She is highly educated and well-traveled, and she would do best with a companion who shares a similar background. She is open to either male or female companionship as long as they provide quality conversation.
