Overview:

Oversee the daily functions of the bread ministry by following the policies and guidelines of Treasure House of Hope. This individual must possess Christian ethics and have some knowledge of drug and alcohol addiction behaviors (Certification in this field is a plus). This person must have strong communication skills with the ability to multitask with multiple teams while out in the community. Due to the fact this is a driving position, the individual must be able to navigate and use GPS, along with knowledge of the Denver metro area which is crucial for the success of the mission. This individual must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft software which is needed for proper record keeping and updates daily. Communication with bread teams is key to the success of the day.

Qualifications:

  • Prefer experience as a Certified Addiction Counselor
  • Pass background clearance
  • Pass urine analysis
  • Possess Colorado driver’s license
  • Capable of wearing earbuds while driving
  • Clean driving record and insurable at the time of hire

Duties and Responsibilities:

(Prior to ministry)

  • Ensure all vans are properly fueled prior to departure.
  • Ensure mileage logs are completed at the start and end of the day and filed in the binder.
  • Have ministry locations designated the night before scheduled run.
  • Make sure all phones and Square POS software are charged and synced for teams’ use.
  • Communicate with leadership to determine bread teams and goals for the day.
  • Determine on a daily basis which participants have scheduled appointments.

 

(During ministry)

  • Ensure team leads load all bread, money bags, clickers, brochures, phones, and POS software in the van prior to departure.
  • Pray with teams prior to leaving on the day’s mission to maintain proper perspective.
  • Ensure you properly communicate with participants their teams’ assignments and drop-offs once you arrive at your 1st location.
  • All incidents must be properly documented, filed in the binder, and reported to leadership.

  • Ensure teams check-in via phone calls for lunch breaks.
  • Must refrain from using a personal phone while driving.

 

(End of day)

  • Pick up all teams at the end of the final run.
  • Communicate with the Men’s Director or ED all donations and report an estimated time of the team’s return is required.
  • Pray with teams and ensure to give God the glory for a successful day.
  • Collect all money bags, phones, POS software, clickers, brochures, business cards, and report the number of breads “given away” and any other donations that is collected and accounted for.
  • Ensure daily all data is logged onto the designated excel spreadsheets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
