We’re seeking a passionate Associate Pastor who embodies the spirit of dynamic youth ministry and transformative discipleship for all ages. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Youth Ministry Leadership (Approximately 2/3 of your role):

Dream, design, and deliver engaging youth programs that blend worship, fellowship, service, and evangelism (missional living).
Inspire and guide youth through interactive worship sessions, small groups, retreats, and outreach initiatives that make faith relatable, real, and fun.

Discipleship & Congregational Growth (Approximately 1/3 of your role):

Cultivate an environment of spiritual growth by creating and managing small groups, spiritual formation classes, and welcoming new members into our family.
Mentor individuals, providing pastoral care and leading one-on-one discipleship that nurtures Christian maturity.

Teaching and Preaching:

Lead and organize Bible studies and classes that challenge and encourage our community to live out their faith daily.
Regularly join our preaching team, sharing insights that resonate with youth and adults.

Collaboration & Strategic Planning:

Embrace a team spirit with humility and shared leadership.
Value delegation and creating space for others to contribute.
Partner with student ministry volunteers and youth leaders to develop innovative, mission-driven initiatives.
Participate in strategic planning to keep our ministry fresh, relevant, and deeply impactful.

QUALIFICATIONS

Credentials:

Must hold credentials with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) or be able to obtain them within the first two years (allianceleaders.org).
Must agree with the Statement of Faith and the Vision and Values of our church.

Education & Biblical Proficiency:

A degree in ministry or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrate a solid, articulate understanding of the Bible and Christian theology, capable of translating deep truths into everyday life.

Leadership & Communication:

A high level of interpersonal communication is necessary for this role.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire diverse young people and volunteers.
Excellent communication skills with a heart for connection and community building.

Passion & Organizational Skills:

A genuine passion for youth ministry, with the drive to create a welcoming, dynamic environment where faith thrives.
Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills to bring innovative ministry ideas to life.
