Job Title: Associate Pastor of Worship and Arts

Reports to: Senior Pastor

Time Requirements: Full Time

Job Summary

The Associate Pastor of Worship and Arts is responsible to organize the worship band, stage organization, sound, tech issues, and multimedia presentations.  They will work closely with the senior pastor to grow spiritually and to form the structure and flow of the services. In addition to Sunday morning, they will work with musical and creative efforts throughout the year, and they will oversee tech development for the church. 

Qualifications

1. A true believer in Christ with a pastoral heart as Paul articulates in letters to Timothy and Titus.  
2. Commitment to Conifer Community Church and Senior Pastor. 
3. Endorse and lead according to the values, vision, statement of faith, and strategy of Conifer Community Church. 
4. Must possess demonstrated skill and the aptitude for leading worship in a relevant, contemporary manner that focuses on God.
5. Ability to lead, administrate, communicate and effectively work with others.
6. Must have skill and knowledge in audio, media, computer, and related fields.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Enlist, train, equip, and oversee the band members, rehearsal and musical aspects of the service.
2. Organize and develop ongoing tech and sound issues.
3. Recruit, train, equip, and oversee worship area visual presentation including online presence.
4. Lead youth band and children’s music programs.
5. Work with the Senior Pastor to develop the service structure and plan.
6. Develop media team and strong social media presence for CCC.
7. Oversee website development. 
8. Participate and lead outreach to the community as needed. 
9. Other pastoral responsibilities as assigned by Senior Pastor.

Relationships

1. Reports to Senior Pastor and maintains good working relationship with staff.
2. Responsible for all instrumentalists and vocalists in the Worship Ministry.
