Assistant Director of University Ministry
Annex is the mission to university students in Boulder, Colorado of Grace Commons Church. The Annex community makes and grows disciples of Jesus within a multi-generational local church that has been committed to the students of CU Boulder for over 125 years.
The Assistant Director of University Ministry partners closely with the Director of University to Ministry to provide pastoral care and ministry leadership for the Annex community and Grace Commons’ mission to university students. Specifics to the position include:
- pastoral shepherding of university students in one-on-one relationships and in community
- partner in vision, planning and implementation of the mission of Annex with the Director
- project and event leadership
- speaking and teaching
- pastoral ministry within the larger Grace Commons community
Well qualified candidates are growing disciples of Jesus who shepherd with grace, humility and love. They love college-aged people and desire for students to experience the way of Jesus. They love the local church with all its joys and challenges and understand multigenerational relationships as a great asset to our mission. They seek to partner with colleagues of Grace Commons and in the Boulder community for the sake of the Kingdom of God. They have a growth mindset and a teachable spirit.
Other Qualifications: Undergraduate degree, 2-3+ years ministry experience
Salaried full-time at 40+ hours per week, with a salary of $57k plus medical benefits and PTO
