TOT Denver is hiring afternoon instructors for the next TOT session with DPS. TOT is an extracurricular enrichment program for Preschool and Kindergarten children! TOT kids learn very basic Basketball handling skills in classes full of music, movement, and fun! The curriculum is all set out, so there is no weekly planning for classes. Just grab your lesson plan, pack your cart, and set out to make some cute kiddos’ afterschool experience awesome! Description  

• Teach weekly TOT Classes  

• Set up/clean up TOT space  

• Maintain a safe, clean, and fun TOT environment  

• Maintain and build relationships with staff, students, and parents at schools  

• Take attendance  

• Prep materials for each week 

Qualities of TOT teacher 

• Great with little kids (3-6 years old) 

• Comfortable managing a class of 12-20 students with an assistant or up to 12 without an assistant  

• Professional  

• On time 

• Reliable  

• Positive Attitude 

• High Integrity (must pass background check)  

• Excellent Classroom Management Skills  

Requirements 

• Minimum 1 year experience with groups of kids  

• 2 References provided  

• Clean background check 

• Commitment to the session  

• CPR/First Aid Certified (paid for by TOT if not certified)  

• Reliable transportation. Vehicle required  

• Ability to transport class supplies (balls, dots, cones, game supplies)  

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. 

• Training before the start of the session (paid $20/hour)

Park Hill Elementary 2:45-4:30 PM – 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 1/12, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9 (7 classes) 

Swigert International School 2:45-4:30 PM – 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 1/12, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9 ( 7 classes) 

 

Tuesday:   

Stephen Knight Center for Early Education 2:45-4:30 PM-12/2, 12/9, 12/16, 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/17 (10 classes)  

 

Wednesday:  

Teller Elementary 2:15-3:50 PM  11/12, 11/19; 12/3, 12/10, 12/17; 1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28; 2/4, 2/11 (11 Classes)  

 

Thursday: 

DCIS at Fairmont 2:40-4:25 PM 12/4, 12/11,12/18, 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19 (10 classes)
