Organization Mission:
Clear Creek Rock House is a faith based, non-profit organization which has been supporting Clear Creek County’s underprivileged youth in grades 6 through 12 for over 20 years. The teens we serve typically come from low income, non-traditional families. We provide no-cost tutoring and weekly one-on-one mentoring, incorporating life skills, fun activities, and community service opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:
The Administrative Assistant provides general office support for a variety of clerical activities and tasks. This individual has strong organizational and technological skills and is a team player who is comfortable in a small organization that requires multitasking. We are seeking someone with an easy-going personality willing to demonstrate flexibility, humor and adaptability to rapidly changing situations when needed.  This individual is service-oriented with strong relationship skills for dealing with donors, volunteers, board members, and the local community.  This is NOT a remote position.

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 Bookkeeping tasks-
o Record payments and deposits in QuickBooks
o Pay recurring bills, contractors, and employees
o Oversee Gusto operations
o Pay invoices and reimbursements
 Administrative tasks –
o Complete grant reimbursement requests
o Create letters for donors at the end of each year for tax purposes
o Organize and maintain accounting files
o Generate reports upon request
o Help prepare the annual budget
o Attend monthly employee meetings and record minutes
o Maintain spreadsheet with donor information
o Write thank you notes and create receipts for donors
Qualifications and requirements –
 High proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Gusto
 Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
 Ability to enter data efficiently, timely and correctly
 Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
 Exceptional communication skills
 Ability to work independently or as a team player
 Familiar with office equipment (printers, computers, etc.)
 Knowledge of advanced bookkeeping and accounting
